NEW! ALPHA Course (6:15-8:55 PM) Have you ever asked yourself the question: "Is this all there is to life?" If you've ever pondered the meaning of life, wondered why bad things happen to good people, or questioned whether God is real, ALPHA is for YOU! Beginning Tuesday, September 16th, New Song is launching its third ALPHA course. What happens in this course? Each Tuesday evening for ten weeks, you gather for dinner, meet new friends and talk with others about your reactions to a short DVD presentation viewed each evening of the course. In a relaxed, non-threatening and low-key setting, ALPHA introduces participants to the basics of Christianity and provides the forum to ask questions about it. No question is considered too simple or too hostile! Over ten thought- provoking weekly sessions, participants grow in understanding as they consider questions like: Who is Jesus?, Why and how do I pray?, and Christianity: boring, true or irrelevant? ALPHA is for those who want to understand more about the Christian faith and those who may be seeking a more meaningful life. Plan to participate yourself and experience a refresher course in the basics of our faith! Better yet, invite a friend, neighbor, co-worker or family member whom you feel could benefit by an experience of genuine faith community. If you would like to participate or help with the fall ALPHA course, contact coordinators Paul and Margie Stojak at (702) 263-3083.
