Sunday Morning Nursery Important Information for Parents The nursery is open on Sunday mornings for all services. We have a bonded and trained nursery attendent and children from infants to age 5 are welcome. We have begun to include a Bible story and Bible story DVD's on Sunday mornings, as a beginning to the children's Christian education. Parents, please remember to sign your child in and out and to note the time of sign-in/sign-out for your child. Children must be signed in by a parent or other designated person over the age of 18.Also, if you have not registered your child with our nursery, please complete a registration form. This gives us the information we need to contact you as needed.
Final registration for all camps will be two weeks prior to the starting date of the camp. Any registration after the final date will be on a case by case basis, approved by the Children’s Ministry Director.
Vacation Bible School – Athens with St. Paul - Jun 24-28: Hours: 4:30 PM – 7:30 PM. Travel with Paul to Athens as he spreads the Word of Jesus and helps begin the Christian Church. Go to the marketplace in Athens and eat yummy Grecian foods from the Bible. Parents, you too may join in the fun, as participants, becoming a leader of your child’s tribe and adopting “orphans” along the way. A light meal will be served each evening. Cost is $45.00 for the first child in a family and $40.00 for each additional child. Ages 4 years through 5th grade in 2012-2013 school year. Final Registration for VBS is Sunday June 16.
The Ten Commandments: Jul 8-12: Hours: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM We will explore the Ten Commandments breaking them down to make them easy to memorize. The children will make their own “Ten Commandment Rock” to have in their rooms at home. Games, snacks, and crafts activities will all follow the commandments. Register early! This camp will be limited to the first 30 enrollments. Cost of $95.00 per child includes the cost of T-shirt and all other materials. A snack will be served but children should bring a sack lunch. This camp is limited to 30 children.
2nd Annual Body and Soul Recreation Camp– Jul 15-19: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM God’s rules of wellness for mind and body. Camp is designed to encourage wellness in all areas of the body and soul. It will include games to inspire exercise and fun; healthy snacks made by the children themselves; various visual arts such as scrapbooking, arts & crafts, photography, woodworking, and sewing & needlework. Bible study will emphasize the Bible’s take on the care of our bodies. Ages 4 years through 6th grade. Cost of $95.00 per child includes the cost of T-shirt and craft materials. Children should bring their lunch, but be healthy snacks will be served. This camp is limited to 30 children.
“Reach” (2 Cor 5: 16-20 )This years El Camino PinesDay Camp – Jul 22-26: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM Mon-Thurs; 9:00 AM – Noon on Friday The camp counselors from El Camino Pines always bring a wonderful Bible study, games, crafts and fun to our kids. This year will be no different. Cost: $95.00 per child. Bible study, worship and other daily activities will introduce and reinforce the daily themes. El Camino Pines staff will make Bible studies and worship age appropriate, so your children can come away from Day Camp with a better understanding of the ways that God talks and listens to us.Ages 4 yrs -6th grade. $95.00 per child includes the cost of all craft materials. Children should bring their lunch, but healthy snacks will be served. T-shirts will be available for sale at camp. This camp is limited to 40 children.
One Week Only!Camp Hope– Aug 5-9:Hours: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM;This year’s Camp Hope theme is “Discovery Zone,” and we will be looking at Jesus through the eyes of Mark. As always, there will be exciting Bible study, fun special days, like Shaving Cream Day (a special favorite with the kids), great snacks, and fun crafts as we go into the Book of Mark and live through five of the miracles of Jesus. Cost: $95.00 per child. Snacks will be served but children should bring a sack lunch. Ages: Kindergarten – 6th grade Cost includes T-shirt and craft materials
Performing Arts Camp – Aug 12-16: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM, Mon- Friday.Grades: 2nd – 12th grade – “Born to Worship” is the theme of this summer’s Performing Arts Camp that will wrap up our summer camp experiences. Featuring ordinary kids, this musical gives new voice to the worship children already experience. Tyler plays baseball, loves video games, comes in late to choir, disrupts what's going on and asks lots of questions. He doesn't understand why everyone is making such a big deal about worship. With the help of his friends, each of whom brings something authentically wonderful to the story, Tyler begins to connect to his created purpose: to know and worship Jesus. Join New Song's Performing Arts Camp where you'll learn how to sing, dance, and act with special workshops all week long and be part of a show that you can invite your family and friends to. Children should bring their lunches but snacks will be served. Cost: $150.00 per child
